How do I appeal a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN)?

If your PCN was received within the last 28 days, go to www.parkingoperations.co.uk and select the box that says Challenge a PCN, then select Informal Challenge.

You do not need a web code for this stage. Input the details requested and provide your mitigating reasons along with any photographic evidence you wish to submit.

Once you have submitted a challenge your PCN is put on hold until that challenge is looked at. You do not need to contact us again to check that we have received it as these challenges are worked through in date order, usually within 14 days.

If your PCN was received more than 28 days ago, go to www.parkingoperations.co.uk and select the box that says Challenge a PCN, then select Representation.

Once we have made a decision you will receive a letter through the post advising you of the outcome, these are worked through in date order, usually within 28 days.
