Permits

We are responsible for the enforcement of numerous residential permit parking schemes in Norfolk.

These schemes are designed to manage on-street car parking (and some off-street car parking) and try to ensure that those who live or work in an area can park close to their homes and businesses.

Each permit scheme operates at times that have been identified as being relevant to that area and will apply on bank holidays unless otherwise stated.

Each of our schemes has variations within it and not all permits are available in all districts.

Most of our permits can be applied for through MiPermit where you will be advised of the permits available to you for the area in which you are searching as your entitlement is linked to your residential or business address, and you can upload all relevant proofs for the permit you require and make any necessary payment for the permit too.

Please note that when you upload your documents these need to be named, as opposed to having numbers in them (where scanned/photographed)
